United Franchise Group (UFG) President Andrew Titus has released a new leadership book: Earned, Not Given, drawing on the lessons that shaped his own journey from performing maintenance on the UFG building as a teenager to becoming President of the company at just 28 years old.

Written for young professionals and emerging leaders, the book challenges the idea that leadership comes with a title. Instead, Andrew argues that influence is built through consistent performance, accountability, and earning the trust of those around you long before you’re formally in charge.

Rather than offering shortcuts, Earned, Not Given provides practical strategies for professionals looking to accelerate their careers, including how to build credibility early, contribute with confidence, cultivate meaningful professional relationships, align work with personal priorities, and develop the habits that lead to long-term success.

One additional note: Andrew is donating all proceeds from the book to fund additional books and leadership resources for UFG franchisees and employees.
