Our History

Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Victra Contact Center in Greenville, NC, employing hundreds of team members who handle Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. As a company, Victra employs thousands of people and serves guests in more than 1,600 locations nationwide. The Victra team is proud of its legacy of creating second-to-none customer experiences and is excited about the future.

Victra Partner Program

With the desire to support Verizon retailers on their wireless journey, Victra established the Sub Agent Program in 2021. This created opportunities for growth, collaboration and longevity for wireless businesses across the nation. Upon the launch of Total Wireless in 2023, the Victra Partner Program emerged, with a mission to allow retailers to build their wireless empire in an environment that cares about their growth. With a dedicated support team, Victra ensures that its partners maintain the resources needed to be successful in the wireless retail industry. Victra is now home to over 100 Total Wireless retail locations and continues to grow at an unparalleled rate.

After initial approval, we support and guide our partners through onboarding, store openings and growth opportunities. The Victra team is prepared to support the needs of every dealer. Our Partner Programs leaders Chad Binnall and Michael Dugger are instrumental in helping our retailers and vendors create a streamlined process of opening locations with a competitive timeline. We are of a hit-the-ground running mindset, something we share with all of our go-getting partners.

Our doors don’t close when our partners’ doors open, either. Post-store launch, we have a dedicated team that offers both online and in-person training to share best practices and fuel the performance of your business against evolving backdrops, technologies, shifting consumer needs and trends. It’s a collaborative process from the start.

What incentives do I get with Victra?

As a Master Agent, the goal is to be a valuable resource for our partners. Currently, we offer up to $15K in support funds to get your Total Wireless store open before September 30. This comes with expert assistance in fixture and store design support, immediate address availability across most of the country, and guidance from a leadership team with over 50 years of combined experience in wireless retail.
